Dive into the definitive UK Garage playlist curated by The House & Garage Orchestra — featuring the iconic anthems that defined a generation. Listen to the tracks we're bringing to life on stage, and find out where to catch THGO live in 2025 and beyond.
If you grew up in the UK between 1997 and 2005, UK Garage wasn't just music, it was the soundtrack to everything. The clubs, the pirate radio stations, the car rides, the house parties. And now, after years of nostalgia-fuelled revivals and half-hearted tribute acts, we at The House & Garage Orchestra have put together the definitive UK Garage playlist A curated collection of the anthems that shaped a culture, and some of the tracks that we're bringing to life on stage with a full live orchestra.
This isn't a random shuffle of early 2000s hits. Every track on this playlist has been chosen deliberately. These are the records that moved dancefloors, made careers, and honestly still make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when that intro drops.
We're not going to give away every track, you need to listen for yourself but here's a flavour of what you'll find when you hit play on the THGO Spotify playlist.
You'll find the big room moments. The tracks that Craig David, So Solid Crew, Artful Dodger, and MJ Cole gave us that felt genuinely groundbreaking at the time. You'll find the deeper cuts, the B-sides and underground tracks that only the real heads remember. And you'll find the crossover anthems, the ones that broke into the charts and introduced a whole new audience to what UKG could do.
This is a UK Garage playlist built with respect. No filler. No box-ticking. Just classic tracks that still hold up.
When we started The House & Garage Orchestra over a decade ago, the mission was simple: give these songs the treatment they deserved. House and Garage changed British music forever, but they never got the orchestral, headline-stage moment that other genres take for granted.
We've spent ten plus years fixing that selling out venues across the UK, touring with the original artists, and proving that when you take an iconic UKG anthem and surround it with a full live orchestra, something genuinely electric happens. The playlist is an extension of that mission. A way to share the music we love, celebrate its legacy, and give fans both long-time devotees and those just discovering it, a proper entry point.

This playlist is the tip of the iceberg. If you want to understand the sound behind the anthems, read our guides to What Is UK Garage?, The History of UK Garage and What Is 2-Step Garage?.
And hear these anthems the way they were meant to be heard — live. The House & Garage Orchestra brings them to the stage with a full orchestra, original vocalists, DJs and MCs on the 2027 UK Tour.
UK Garage didn't just fill dancefloors, it built a culture, and these anthems are the proof.
The playlist features a carefully curated mix of iconic UKG anthems from big room classics by Craig David, Artful Dodger and So Solid Crew, to deeper underground cuts that shaped the genre. Hit play on Spotify to hear the full selection.
THGO has upcoming shows at Tewinbury Festival on Saturday 12 September, THGO Live – Manchester on Saturday 20 February, and THGO Live – Birmingham at Birmingham Institute on Saturday 27 February 2027. Check our events page for full details and tickets.
THGO performs these iconic anthems with a full live orchestra alongside the original vocalists and DJs, not a covers band, not a tribute act. It's the genuine article, given a live orchestral setting that makes these classics hit harder than ever.
